  • Allergies and dietary requirements

    If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please let us know. You can contact our restaurant staff for this. They will be happy to accommodate you.

  • Liability

    The hotel cannot be held countable for the lost items from the hotel rooms, meeting rooms or public areas (this also includes the cloakroom and lockers).

  • Baby bed

    It is possible to reserve a baby bed for your room. We charge an additional charge for bringing a child (0-3 years) with us. Placing a baby bed in your room is included in this additional charge.

  • Baggage room

    If you wish to leave your luggage, a room is available at the reception (24 hours a day). The hotel is not held accountable for damage to your belongings or lost items.

  • Banquet facilities:

    Hotel Sneek is the perfect location for business meetings, such as meetings, multi-day conferences, seminars, training courses or the organization of trade fairs. The 9 tasteful rooms, with a capacity of up to 500 guests, are characterized by the abundance of daylight and the spacious layout.   • Bedding / towels:

    If you would like to have extra bedding, blankets, pillows or towels, please contact the reception. Towels are replaced if they are on the floor of the bathroom. If you place these over the bath rim or on the hook, we assume that you wish to use them. If you are staying in our hotel for a period of time, we will change your bedding every three days.

  • Bed, pillow and bedding from Van der Valk

    The bed, pillows and bedding in your room are available via . You can buy the Valk pillow (60 x 90) at the reception based on availability.

  • Bicycle stand

    Hotel Sneek has a covered and locked bicycle stand. This is located at the end of the car park. This can only be opened with the room key.

  • Bicycle rental

    Renting bicycles is possible. You will receive a €5.00 discount per bicycle via an online reservation or at the reception. For more prices and availability, please contact the reception.

  • Birdy’s Bar

    Our atmospheric hotel bar is open every day until about 1 am. Of course you can also order a drink here to take to your room.

  • Breakfast

    The breakfast buffet is served between from Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 10:30 AM. On Saturday and Sunday, the breakfast buffet is served between 07:30 and 11:00 AM. On public holidays our breakfast times may differ.

    It is also possible to have breakfast served in your room. For our room service a surcharge applier per order.

  • Bathrobes

    Would you like more luxury during your stay? You are able to rent lovely soft bathrobes at the reception.

  • Brunch

    Every Sunday we present an extensive Sunday brunch. From 12.00 pm we welcome you with a glass of bubbly. Our buffet is open until 2.30 pm (excluding holidays). Reservations can be made via the reception, 0515 -48 18 18,,

  • Check-out

    The standard check-out time is until 12:00 PM. If you are interested in a late check-out, please inquire about the possibilities with our reception. As a Valk Loyal guest you can take advantage of a free Lazy Sunday on Sunday. This is based on availability.

  • Copies

    Copies can be made at the reception. We can also print your personal documents, such as boarding passes, for you.

  • Cycling route

    For information about various cycling routes and junction maps, please contact the reception. Route maps are for sale from €1.95.

  • Doctor

    If you wish to receive visitors, they must report to the reception for registration in connection with fire safety. A maximum number of guests is allowed for all rooms and suites.

  • Do not disturb sign

    You can hang the ‘’do not disturb’’ card on your door if you do not wish to be disturbed.

  • Electric car charging station

    During your stay at Hotel Sneek you can easily charge your electric at our charge point. For this you need to have a charging pass.

  • Electric bicycle charging station

    Electric bicycles can be charged in the bicycle shed and to the right of the main entrance.

  • Extra bed

    It is possible to place an extra bed for a fee, based on availability and the room type.

  • Fire

    In case of fire:
    - Keep calm and report the fire immediately to the reception (key 9);
    - Stay low to the ground in case of strong smoke development;
    - Do not use the ELEVATOR;
    - Exit the building following the instructions and follow the escape route, which you
    can be found on the inside of the room door;
    - All emergency exits are indicated and equipped with emergency lights;
    - Follow the instructions of the police, fire department and hotel staff.

  • First Aid

    If first aid is required, please contact the reception immediately. To do this, call '9'.

  • General medic clinic

    The medical clinic is located at the Antonius Hospital in Sneek.

    The general medic clinic in Friesland only works by appointment. The reception is happy to help and inform you at the desk. (medic clinic 0900-112 7 112).
    Use room telephone:
    If you want to call another room, you can call the reception (key '9'). We will then connect you to the desired room.
    If you want to call an outside line, first press '0'. You can then enter the desired phone number.

  • Gym

    The gym is located on the third floor of the hotel. It is open daily from 07:00 am till 10:00 pm and you can enter with an your room pass.

  • Hairdryer

    You will find a hairdryer in the wardrobe in your room.

  • Heating

    When the pass is removed from the card holder, the heating will automatically be reset to the basic settings.

  • Hospital

    St. Antonius Hospital Sneek. Please contact the reception for assistance.

  • Housekeeping

    For questions or special requests regarding cleaning and/or extra toiletries, please contact the reception.

  • Lunch á la carte

    We serve lunch á la carte every day in our restaurant and hotel bar. Our kitchen is open from 11:00 AM. From this time you can choose from our menu.

  • Lunch buffet

    From Monday to Friday, we offer the lunch buffet in the restaurant between 12:00 and 14:00 (With the exception of public holidays).

  • Lunch package

    It is possible to order a packed lunch at the reception against payment. You can indicate your preferences on an order list.

  • Lounge

    Our lounge is open every day. The ideal environment for a quiet conversation, an aperitif or a cup of coffee. You can reach the waiters via the button on the table.

  • Lost and Found

    If you have found/lost something, you can contact the reception. The reception keeps lost and found objects for a maximum period of 3 months. The hotel is not liable for loss or theft of your belongings.

  • Kids area

    In the lobby on the ground you will find a Kids area for the little ones. They can enjoy themselves here while visiting our bar or restaurant. Please supervise your children.

  • Minibar

    The minibar in your room is not filled. At the reception you can buy a minibar package. Here you can also view the package.

  • Night porter

    From 23:30 to 07:00 o’clock the night porter is present. In case of an emergency you can reach the night porter at any time. Please dial ‘9’.

  • Non-smoking rooms

    All rooms and suites are non-smoking. In case it is found out that there has been smoked in the room, a fine of 175 euro will be charged.

  • Opening hours main entrance

    Hotel Sneek is open 24/7 for you as a guest. From 00:00 o’clock the main entrance closes. You can reach the night porter via the intercom at the left of the revolving door. You can report with your name and room number. After which the night porter will give you access.

  • Parking

    Parking is free of charge during your stay.

  • Pet bottles

    Near the elevator on the ground floor you will find a soft drinks machine. This works only with small change. It is possible to withdraw small amounts at the reception between 07:00 – 23:00 o’clock.

  • Pets

    Pets are not allowed in our comfort rooms, suites and in our restaurant. Pets are only allowed in our Lobby and Brasserie.

  • Post

    You can hand in your postal items at the reception. The hotel will take care of the dispatch. You can collect your mail at the reception.

  • Reception

    The reception desk is open 24 hours a day. At night the reception desk is manned by our night porter.

  • Reservations

    Please contact the reception desk to make a reservation. This is possible for both room and restaurant reservations.

  • Restaurant

    The restaurant is located on the ground floor of our hotel. You can come here daily for lunch and dinner. We recommend you to make a reservation in advance. The kitchen is open until 23:00 o’clock.

  • Restaurant-ID

    With your personal Restaurant ID, you can take advantage of varied dishes at participating hotels every month. You can find your personal Restaurant ID in the hotel dashboard of your Valk Account.

  • Room service

    Room service is available from 11:00 till 22:00 hrs. To order, please contact the reception. Room service is subject to a surcharge.

  • Safe

    Our rooms are equipped with a safe. We recommend to use this safe. You will find instructions for its use next to the safe. The hotel is not responsible for lost articles from the hotel room.

  • Shoe polishing

    A shoe shine machine is located on the ground floor in the corridor near room 133.

  • Shop

    At the reception you will find a well-equipped showcase with items for sale. For more information please contact our reception staff.

  • Sights

    Various information is available at the reception for activities and places of interest or sights in the area. In addition, our reception staff will be happy to inform you about everything the area has to offer.

  • Taxi/Shuttle service

    If you would like to take a taxi, you can easily make a reservation at the reception desk. If you need transportation for long distance trips, like for instance to Schiphol Airport, you can ask for the possibilities at the reception desk.

  • Television

    All our rooms are equipped with a television with remote control. If you have any questions or if there is a malfunction, please ask at the reception desk.

  • Terrace

    Hotel Sneek offers a beautiful and spacious terrace on the waterfront of the hotel. The terrace is open during the summer period from 09:00 - 01:00 hrs.

  • Tools

    In the room and suites, are various tools available in the room, such as an ironing board, iron and sewing set. A dental care, soaps and/or shaving set can be obtained at the reception. We can also place a shower chair or anti-slip mat in the bathroom. For this you can contact the reception.

  • Umbrella

    Our reception staff will be happy to lend you an umbrella in case of bad weather or forecasts.

  • Washing, Steaming, Ironing

    At the reception you can pick up a laundry bag for your laundry that needs to be washed and/or ironed. We request that you deliver the laundry in the laundry bag to reception. A surcharge of €15 is charged for washing, dry cleaning and/or ironing of your laundry. The laundry will be returned within approximately 1 working day (depending on how busy it is).

  • Weather report

    You will find the weather forecast on the information screen at the reception desk.

  • Weather service

    It is possible to use the wake-up service at any time of the day. Please contact reception to discuss this.

  • Wheelchair

    There is a wheelchair available at the hotel. Please ask our reception for availability.

  • WI-FI

    To connect, select the network 'Hotel Sneek'. This is an open network and you do not need a password.
