Van der Valk Hotel Sneek is building towards the future

Starting from January 26th, renovations will begin on our brasserie. Over the course of 12 weeks, work will be done to create an acoustic ceiling, aiming to improve sound experience and make your visit to our “Birdy’s Bar” even more enjoyable. Additionally, the interior will undergo changes. After already giving the restaurant a fresh new look, the brasserie will now be next in line. A fresh new look that we hope both you and we will enjoy for many years to come.

From February 17th, the ceiling of the lobby will also be acoustically treated, further enhancing the atmosphere and sound experience in the space.

The work will be completed by April 18th.

The restaurant will not be affected by these renovations and remains accessible via the designated walkways. You are more than welcome to join us in the restaurant. It has already been updated with a new interior and a beautiful matching bar. The restaurant will remain open until at least 00:00 during this period. Additionally, the restrooms, meeting rooms, and reception will remain accessible via the designated walkways.
For guests with loyal four-legged companions, we only have limited space available in the lobby. We recommend that guests with pets return after the renovations are complete for an even more enjoyable experience, when both the brasserie and lobby are fully optimized for both humans and animals.
